  1. Mike,

I’m writing to you from the beginning of my fifth year as School Chaplain at the New England Girl’s School (Armidale). It’s only the first week in and I’m already feeling a little exhausted, so it was great to stumble upon your website (via Youthworks) and find a few ideas both for Boarder’s Chapel tonight and Year 9 home group meeting on Wednesday.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Blessings,

    karen

  2. Hi there,
Just wanted to say THANK YOU! I use your website all the time when planning our program here at St Luke’s, The Oaks @ for youth group called the Catch. We keep meaning to sit down one day and write up some of the other activities we have used for youth activities to share.
Thank you again for this great resource. God bless!!

    • No problems Verity! I think we may have met once through Matt & Alison Nutt…? Either way, I’m glad you’re using the resources and I’d be happy to hear some of the activities you guys are using, I need to create some more!

      • Hello Mike, I am so thankful to God almighty for the knowledge He has given you to turn back the hearts of the youths to God. I am blessed through the resources i have gotten from your site. Please if you do not mine, I would really love to get more private with you on some youth ministry aspects. I am from Cameroon and you can contact me via email. I see you have so much in you and am so much willing to be your duplicate in the youth service of my locality. please do not ignore my request for i have a lot to learn from you and to share with you.
        Thank you.
        Aquila.

  4. Hey Mike,
Someone told me the other day they had found a great website for youth ministry. I said I’d have a look…. and I found your face on it. I remember looking at a website/blog of yours years ago and it wasn’t as well thought out or fleshed out as this. Looks really good now. It’s good of you to share. Been helpful for our youth program. Please say g’day to Fi as well.

    Joshua

  5. Hey Dickers,

Good seeing you at Thetacon and cheers for the lift. Mark Schroder put me onto this, as someone breaking back into youth ministry again after some time out and having to set up my youth ministry rather than really inherit one I am stoked at having access to your accumulated wisdom.

    God Bless Brother

  6. I’m glad that it turned out so effectively and I hope it will continue in the future because it is so worthwhile and meaningful to the community.

  7. I’m trying to find resources and information on Youthgroup Discipline but there’s not much out there. Do you know any books regarding this? Or would you be able to blog/book about it? On the Why? How? How not to? Aims?
    Thanks.
    Benjamin Zhao.
